That's what I found.

It took 30 years of meditation and all sorts of other things to get to the end of everything I could try, but I got there. Changing myself was my main focus in life, because my inner experience was intolerable.

There came a moment, on a beautiful summer day, when I looked out the window at the sky beyond the trees, realized there was nothing more for me to try, and I gave up. I had done it all, it had not worked, and I gave up.

My mind went totally silent. Then a question floated into my awareness - "Why is it hard to change?"

I fell into that rabbit hole and years later came out with NeuroMastery®.

Finally, something that worked at the deep levels I needed.

The Essential Discovery

The essence of what I found is that

1. Your life patterns, including your internal limits, blocks, and persistent unwanted feelings, are neural networks,

2. And we can change neural networks

Sounds simple, right?

How to understand and actually do that is the essence of NeuroMastery®.

In other words, what isn't working about your life is largely bad programming.

NeuroMastery® provides us with new insights, new understanding, and new methods

that let us untangle the CRAP and start reintegrating ourselves with greater wholeness and clarity.

Why Change Has Been So Hard: The SQMP

Changing yourself is hard because your brain has a built-in program.

I call it the Status Quo Maintenance Program (SQMP or "squimp").

Its job is to maintain the status quo, and it's very good at doing that.

Think of all the ways you "self-sabotage." That's the SQMP at work, preventing change.

It follows a simple logic:

1. Whatever you've been doing has kept you alive.

2. Anything new or different is unknown and potentially dangerous.

3. So don't do it.

It knows exactly what will stop you.
Think of all the ways you dont do what you intended to do:

Distraction, spacing out, "too tired," overwhelmed already, anticipating failure.

You know how it goes for you.

The SQMP doesn't care if you're happy or fulfilled.
It's bottom line is Familiar = safe. Change = bad.

Even if you really need the change.
It's stupid that way, but clever at stopping you.

This is why willpower, positive thinking, and traditional therapy often don't create lasting change.
They don't reach deep enough to counter the SQMP.

They don't reach all the way into rewiring neural networks.
This new way forward has ways of doing both.

Resistance to change was helpful for our ancestors.

Now it keeps us stuck in patterns that don't serve us, often for life.

It's time to stop being stuck.

The Science That Makes Deep Change Possible

In 2004, scientists discovered that the brain has a natural way to update and rewrite its patterns.

It's called memory reconsolidation.

They found the exact mechanism the brain uses to update existing patterns. There are five steps to it.
Those existing patterns can be fears, self-image, beliefs, relationship patterns, memories, traumas, life strategies, and anything limiting.

Incorporating this discovery is what makes NeuroMastery® so powerful.

NeuroMastery® uses those steps to change unwanted patterns.

How fast can your brain change?

Have you ever touched something unexpectedly hot?

How long did it take to learn not to do that?

That's how fast your brain can change.

Granted, physically and emotionally painful information goes in faster, but undoing limiting patterns usually sees results in minutes when you know how.

From Reactivity to Authenticity

From years of observation, I see three stages on this path.

Stage 1: Putting Out Fires

First is taking down the immediate issues, the things that are taking up your attention.
Triggered reactions, anger, resentment, fears, and other stuff that grab your attention.
Our four weeks will be spent here.

If you continue dissolving layers of conditioning, you reclaim energy for creativity, connection, and contribution. Your authentic self emerges as the limitations holding you back drop away.

  • The Clarity Process for clearing mental/emotional clutter
    This may be the most powerful anti-stress, mind-clearing method in the world.

You’re def right about accessing the deeper levels of programming and neutralizing those aspects. I think that’s why the Clarity Process is so powerful, it puts all the elements of the issue right there in one package and then we neutralize it. That literally connected me with my higher self.
